Filing for office

I was excited and a little nervous as I walked into Plymouth City Hall to officially file to be on the ballot as a candidate for city council. I brought my family along for the occasion, and though filling out paperwork was boring to my kids, it was a milestone, a culmination of all the work, preparation, meetings, and listening I've done for months (years, even) up to this point. Yet it was also only a beginning - and there is much more work to do in the coming days, weeks, and month before election day!
