One thing I've come to realize in the first few months on the city council is that there are so many issues and topics of concern for the residents and businesses of our city. I've already had at least a dozen meetings on many topics.

Discussing affordable housing with representatives from Beacon Interfaith Housing.

Here's just a sampling of the different conversations I've had:

  • I met with a group of residents from Plymouth Diversity Equity and Inclusion to hear their priorities and concerns.

  • I met with several people from Make Plymouth Green to talk about environmental stewardship.

  • I met with Beacon Interfaith Housing and others to talk about multiple areas of affordable housing, including Tax Increment Financing and project based vouchers - two topics I had to do a bit more research on to better understand.

  • I met with several business owners to talk about city licensing requirements.

  • I met with several residents interested in bringing cultural events to our community.

  • I've spoken with several residents about issues like snow plowing and nuisance concerns and been able to connect them with city staff who can help.

I am always open to talk and more importantly, to listen. What's important to you? Reach out and let's have a conversation!
