Let's celebrate our diversity so every resident to feel welcome and has a voice.
As our community continues to grow and evolve, it is important that we ensure Plymouth is a welcoming community for everyone - lifelong residents and those just moving in. This includes access to workforce housing, parks and recreation, efficient transportation and accessible, walkable streets and trails.
It means highlighting the needs of different groups: people of color, people with disabilities, older adults, etc. I’ve brought this perspective to many roles in my life and career, including the EQC, charter commission and planning commission.
I’m especially interested in hearing perspectives different from my own, so I want to see our commissions and committees reflect our community and its vast diversity.
