Development and growth

As our city is almost fully built-out, we need to be considerate of many factors moving forward.

Nobody likes to see the loss of mature trees and green space in their community, me included. And as the remaining open areas in Plymouth may face the prospect of future development, we need to consider the nature of the neighborhood, as well as the needs of the community in deciding the best path forward.

That includes traffic impacts, protecting green space, the impact on our infrastructure, access to transit, possibilities for affordable housing, and the affect it could have on quality of life for everyone in Plymouth. In my time on the Planning Commission I've seen the balance be struck between these concerns, property owner's rights, zoning and comprehensive planning.

I want to ensure that we maintain the quality of life in Plymouth, and make it accessible to residents and every stage of life.
